We are delighted to announce Amacus has been selected to feature on the Telegraph Business Club website with a new video showcasing the company.

The video will feature on the Telegraph’s website in the Business Club section for 6 months joining the likes of E.on, Visit Britain and Diamond Cooper.

The Business Club showcases case studies from the country’s most successful businesses, with interesting stories to tell others can be inspired by.

Christine Hall, Managing Director of Amacus said: “The company has come a long way since 2003 and we are delighted with this video, demonstrating the services Amacus can offer.  We are particularly proud of the difference we are making to the local economy, in terms of helping people into work”.

The film focuses on the Employability side of Amacus’ training delivery with particular reference to our ‘Job Ready Recruitment Service’ to employers looking to recruit but needing a ‘job ready’ pool of candidates. The service recruits and filters potential candidates then trains them to the company’s standards, offers a period of work experience and gets them prepared for interview. The result is a pool of candidates who are ready and able to work in the position they are applying for.

The quality of Amacus’ service is backed up by a local business and a local authority leader, providing a glowing evaluation of Amacus and the results they we are achieving for the local area.

Paul Rowntree, Operations Manager at The Keys in Darlington said: “The combination of training and work experience has delivered exactly what we wanted. It has saved us valuable time and ensured all staff were trained in essential areas such as Customer Care, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Manual Handling. All of our recruits have hit the ground running, fully understanding how the Keys operates as a leading business in the hospitality sector in the Tees Valley. All candidates are showing great potential and I am confident a solid career in hospitality and catering is ahead of them

Bill Dixon, Leader of Darlington Borough Council said: “Organisations such as Amacus help local authorities and employers in our area to match up people and jobs. Without them the local authority are not in a position to do this. What we need are private sector organisations to help with getting people ready for work, and in that respect, Amacus have done a fantastic job with a diverse range of employers. Everybody deserves a chance to work but everybody also deserves a chance to be trained to work
