Amacus support job seekers in Middlesbrough

Danielle Shellard Leapfrog programme delegate

Staff from Amacus took Leapfrog Employability programme delegates to Middlesbrough Jobs Fair on Thursday 11th June to help them find suitable job opportunities.

The fair, organised by Middlesbrough Council, had hundreds of positions advertised and saw over 2,800 potential applicants come through the doors of the Town Hall between 10am and 4pm.

The Leapfrog Programme prepares and supports unemployed individuals, to find employment or pursue self-employment. In addition, the Job Ready Recruitment Service provides companies with a pool of job ready candidates for interview.

Andy, Elaine and Fay from Amacus’s Middlesbrough office networked with many of the companies, exhibiting such as First Choice Recruitment, Thistle Hotels, Northgate Vehicle Hire and North Star Housing, to name but a few.

The delegates picked up numerous vacancies to follow up with one delegate making an application to the army and another applying to Arriva Buses.

A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all and our commitment to helping delegates into employment was demonstrated by the team.
